I really don't know what's the general consensus on this one. I don't even
know the historical one! For instance... What does Gibson do with the
ES-175? Is it parallel? What do you guys suggest?

Oh come on guys! With all the geniuses on here! :)
I would guess it's best to parallel brace a laminated guitar but I wanted to
hear from someone more experienced than me.

On the lam project I'll be doing I plan on having a routed neck pickup. I read
that the parallel braces helps reduce feedback. I have an ES-175 here. I tried
to feel around in the f-holes. I can just about touch both braces. Doesn't
really give me any indication of their orientation though.

What did guys like D'Aquisto do?
